How I Choose My Food (Ft. Beef X Burgers)

So apparently, there is a resto that serves half-beef-half-pork-variants burgers. BeefX Burgers, a resto more popular to UP students as “the previous Big B” had been serving them for quite a while already.
The hipster-ish (you'll see why when you visit there) resto's menu isn't overwhelming, which is good for an anxious decider like me. It may be weird to most, but if you’re one too, you’ll agree that the lesser complicated a menu, the better.
Reasons to Choose
Being an anxious decider like me can be difficult. You waste a lot of time and actually exhaust more energy and induce stress than you already do in a normal basis. Yes, we experience all of that just by choosing our own food or stuff. To help you with our tinnie-tiny problem, I’m sharing you my list of reasons why I choose something in a menu as I give you a taste of my selections from BeefX Burgers.
1. To compare
If I’m in the mood for comparing, or if the people I’m with coincidentally want the same thing I ordered, I usually give way and get the other variants if there are any. Not because I’m a trying to be hero or something, but because it comes with an agreement that we’ll do a ‘tikiman session’. For example, my bestfriend, sister, and I ordered the Beef x Bacon, Beef x Spam and Beef x Longganisa and split them into smaller parts to share.
2. Because it’s different or new
When I first read the “x Spam”, “x Longganisa”, “Poutine ng Ina Mo fries” I thought “What? Whe? Whaaa?”They definitely sound like must-tries. I’m always game with practically any food I’m served with, especially if it’s something different. But, but, if it’s the world’s most spicy food, then heck no.
3. Because I think the ingredients would blend well
I have this habit of choosing food the way I think it would be. And I think that isn’t bad nor good though, since it’s natural to expect things but it can also be frustrating (if not surprisingly amazing) to get what you didn’t expect. For instance, I thought the Beef x Bacon would be my favorite. But surprisingly it’s the Spam variant. I’ll tell you why later, but I think the lettuce, mustard, the Amazing sauce, go together with all their variant-infused patties.
4. Because my friends say so
I am completely, 100%, an anxious decider. I’m not even sure if that’s a word (and it’s awkward) but yes, I panic whenever I’m asked to choose from a menu. Why wouldn’t I, though? It’s like choosing one bestfriend, you know? So sometimes, other people pick my food for me, although that doesn’t always feel good for them. (To all those who pick my food for me in times of trouble, though, you will not be forgotten.)
5. “Eenie, meenie, miny, moe!”
Again, not everybody likes that habit I have when I’m in a rather perplexed state in an untimely moment (usually at the counter) so I do Eenie meenie. Yep. If you’re an anxious yet adventurous foodie like me, then I highly recommend this method. You’ll find that it actually makes the world a little less scary for us.
BeefX Burgers

The Burger x Bacon (P125) looks so promising and my bestfriend who orders it a lot really recommends it. But I don’t know if it’s just me or I couldn’t taste the baconness that much? It could also be that taste I expected in my head again but nonetheless, I think it’s nice.
The Bacon x Longganisa (P125) tastes like beef and that longganisa my mom always cooks. It has that sweet, pepper and garlic-intensified taste you’ll like if you’re a longganisa lover.
To my surprise it was actually the Beef x Spam (P135) that tasted the best for me. Again, it isn’t what I expected it to taste like and it was surprisingly delicious. I definitely will have another of that when I visit.

The Poutine ng Ina Mo fries (P140) which is daubed in gravy and mozzarella cheese was also great. Just when you think all inexpensive restaurants serve the least mozzarella cheese, there’s BeefX Burgers to prove you wrong. With every fork of Poutine ng Ina Mo fries, you get those delicious, long, elastic tails of mozzarella until you get the very bottom of the bowl.
To finish this blog, I would like to acknowledge BeefX Burgers's staff for the prompt response on the issue we had regarding our food. Even though we didn’t ask for any replacement, they were quick enough apologize give us a Beef x Bacon and a Strawberry juice on the house. Whatever that issue was I’d still give you guys a thumbs up on your food and especially, your service.
